Preparation classes for Confirmation and First Communion
This section in Holy Faith comprises summaries of talks to prepare children for Confirmation and First Communion.
1. Prayer
Prayer is the lifting up of the mind and heart to God. In prayer we turn to God and express our need of him, our love for him and our desire to please him. “Prayer uniteth the soul to God”. (1)

What am I?

A material body, which will die;

A soul, which will live for ever.
Who made me?
God made me for himself. He gave me a mind to know him, a heart to love him, and a will to choose him and obey (please) him in this life so that in the end I might see him and enjoy him for ever in Heaven.
