Sitteth on the right hand of God
If you’ve been playing some energetic sport like football or netball you may feel quite tired when you get home, and you’re glad to sit down and have a rest. Of course, people don’t just sit down to rest, often people sit down to work. In fact, you can tell the kind of work people do by where they sit. For example, someone who sits at a supermarket checkout is a shop assistant; someone who sits on a tractor is a farm worker; and someone who sits on a throne is a king or a queen.
I believe in the Holy Ghost
In some parts of Africa, the boys are very fond of riding on dead tree trunks which sometimes float down the river. One day a boy got on one of these tree trunks for a ride but as he was going nicely along something very strange happened. The tree trunk began to wake up, and when he saw a huge mouth, full of teeth, opening in front of him he realised that all the time he had been sitting, not on a dead piece of wood as he had thought, but on a very alive crocodile. As you can imagine he didn’t stay on it long, and after that he was rather more careful in his choice of craft!

Progressive knowledge
As you know, when we learn anything, we make mistakes. When you started using a computer you probably had the horrible experience of losing something you had taken ages to type! You may have had the wrong idea that a computer is better than the human brain, until you found it giving you some very unhelpful commands. Gradually you got to understand the computer better and learnt how to save documents properly and create back-up discs as an extra precaution. So you went on learning a step at a time.
